Research Scientist

As a research scientist, you will be responsible for designing and setting up a new plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) system. Your key responsibilities will include planning and conducting experiments for PECVD growth of boron nitride nanomaterials, optimizing PECVD parameters, performing and analyzing SEM, TEM, Raman, and other material characterizations, conducting thermal characterization and real-application tests, and preparing monthly reports and presentations.
You will also be required to mentor PhD students. To succeed in this role, you will need a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related discipline, experience operating CVD systems for growth of 2D and nanomaterials, experience with nanomaterial characterization techniques, good management, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, excellent communication and writing skills, and a strong sense of responsibility for research and work.
