Job Title: Disk Failure Analysis Technician
At our company, we specialize in identifying and resolving issues related to disk failure. Our team of experts uses advanced tools such as microscopes and Candela to analyze physical failures and provide detailed reports to process teams.
The role of a Disk Failure Analysis Technician involves working closely with production lines to identify and address yield issues. This includes monitoring SAH (Send Ahead) yields, analyzing disk morphology, and providing support for production line conversions.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- SAH yield monitoring and alerting process engineering on SAH yield issues
- Physical failure disk analysis and morphology identification using microscopes and AFM
- Supporting engineers on improvement evaluation and FA comparison of baseline vs. evaluations
- Providing data analysis and first-level data analysis on line instability to identify common root causes
- Updating FA results into the database for use by all engineers
- Logistic coordination on all FA samples and upkeeping lab conditions for both equipment and physical samples
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A diploma in Electronic Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Self-motivated and results-oriented mentality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a dynamic team environment
- Ability to work in a clean room environment and willingness to work on a 12-hour rotating day/night shift pattern
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry
- Hands-on experience and familiarity with microscopes or similar equipment
