Job Title: Automated Chemistry Researcher

The primary objective of this role is to design, develop, and implement automation projects in chemistry. The Automated Chemistry Researcher will be responsible for independently conducting experiments, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of experimental data.

  • Collect and analyze experimental data based on AI spectrum interpretation using professional software such as Origin and ChemDraw.
  • Evaluate subsystems like AI models and automation unit components used in chemical scenarios, providing optimization suggestions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a mature AI-driven automation system platform.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed in all experiments, standardizing equipment use and implementing daily maintenance work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in chemical synthesis, preferably incorporating automation engineering and computer science. Additionally, they should have at least 2 years of experience in organic synthesis and more than 3 years working in a CRO/CDMO.

  • Rigorous knowledge of organic chemistry with R&D experience.
  • Ability to use laboratory equipment and complete daily maintenance with high safety awareness.
  • Exceptional learning and problem-solving skills, results-oriented with continuous improvement and optimisation.
  • Familiarity with common chemical software and databases (ChemDraw, Scifinder/Reaxys).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, and teamwork commitment.
