We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Strategist to elevate our global macro team's investment process through advanced quantitative techniques. This role will leverage alternative data sources, rigorously validate investment hypotheses, and screen for high-potential investment opportunities.
The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive FVT analysis, quantify portfolio risks, and provide strategic recommendations for portfolio construction. Additionally, they will apply sophisticated econometric methods in nowcasting and forecasting to generate actionable insights and identify market trends, ensuring our strategies are both data-driven and grounded in macroeconomic theory.
Key Responsibilities:- Validate investment hypothesis and value-add investment strategies
- Quantify potential portfolio risks and provide portfolio construction related recommendations
- Monitor asset movements, identify market trends, and provide insights
- Apply ML/Econometrics in nowcasting and forecasting
- Advanced degree in fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics
- 4-6 years in a Quantitative Role within finance
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Good understanding of Macroeconomics and Fixed Income instruments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and cater to the needs of fundamental managers and analysts
- Familiarity with traditional and alternative macro datasets
