Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and supervise customer projects to provide timely supply to customers and meet performance standards set by the Regulator.
  • Manage contractors and a team of officers in implementing customer projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments for all project works carried out and develop associated safe work procedures.
  • Supervise contractors' work and ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with ISO Quality Procedures & Operating Instructions, safe work procedures, good engineering practice, and cables/equipment installed comply with specifications.
  • Ensure proper management of project budget.
  • Perform operations on the electricity network, test and commission new equipment and circuits up to 22kV.
  • Conduct partial discharge test on newly commissioned HT cables using Oscillating Wave Testing System.
  • Carry out Dissolved Gas Analysis test on transformer oil for newly commissioned transformer.
  • Conduct site safety audit and implement Contractor Safety Management system.
  • Perform HT standby duty after office hours.
  • Prepare technical specifications and calls tenders and quotations.
  • Attend to customers' requests/complaints and take appropriate action promptly.
  • Certify overtime claims, transport claims, driving allowances, vehicle time sheets, vouchers, works orders, completion certificates, bills, and goods receipt notes.
  • Be a leader or member of any study team, task force, or committee.
  • Plan operations policy and strategies.
  • Responsible for coaching, counselling, and disciplining staff. Coach and guide subordinates as a Reporting Officer and manage their development plan.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
  • Preferably with 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • A team player with a positive working attitude and the ability to handle tight deadlines.
