DevOps Engineer Job

The DevOps Engineer role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our software development lifecycle. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient DevOps pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Symptoms and Maintenance: Ensure the entire DevOps pipeline runs smoothly by troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the requirements gathering process to successful implementation of DevOps pipeline onboarding.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Work closely with vendors to establish centralized DevOps solutions adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Tool Upgrades: Partner with vendors to upgrade and integrate DevOps tools.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead analysis and resolution of root cause for Test Orchestration/Environment related issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay updated with industry trends and lead innovation in key DevOps, Runtime, and Operational platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Background: Possess deep technical expertise with hands-on experience in supporting CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Build Strategies: Prior experience with different build strategies.
  • Kubernetes Deployment: Strong technical background in Kubernetes deployment process.
  • Maintaining Secrets: Good knowledge of maintaining/deploying secrets in Kubernetes.
  • Jira Workflow: Prior working experience in setting up Jira workflow.
  • Jira Customization: Prior experience customizing Jira and setting up Confluence spaces.
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Hands-on experience setting up CI/CD pipeline as a centralized solution.
  • DevOps Governance: Experience with setting up DevOps governance, Security standards, and audit requirements.
  • Cloud Offerings: Prior experience in setting up DevOps pipeline in internal and external cloud offerings.
  • Continuous Testing: Familiarity with continuous testing techniques and tools (JUnit, SonarCube, Veracode, etc.).
  • Automation Tools: Technical exposure to automation using advanced Python, Chef, Ruby, and PowerShell.
  • Virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure: Extensive experience in virtualization and cloud infrastructure related technologies.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Strong passion for infrastructure as code and associated automation and provisioning tools.
Technical Skills
  • Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, JIRA, Confluence.
  • Groovy, Bash, Python, PowerShell.
  • Kubernetes, Docker, Linux.
