Treasury Manager Job Description

\

The role of a Treasury Manager involves driving cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and working capital.

\
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and analysis for key teams, identifying areas for improvement.\
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive cashflow initiatives.\
  • Engage external providers to support these actions, implementing and monitoring corporate policies as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

\
  • Business Partnering: Drive Cash and Liquidity Management\
    • Cash Flow Forecasting: Prepare cash flow forecasts and analysis for Supply Chain and Procurement teams, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.\
    • Cash Improvement Initiatives: Identify and drive cashflow improvement initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders.\
    • External Engagement: Engage external providers, such as banks, to support cash management strategies and implement appropriate corporate policies.

  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare monthly reports outlining latest cash flow forecasts for senior stakeholders, ensuring FX exposures are captured in contract negotiations.\
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to treasury transformation activities, developing and implementing new treasury tools and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

\
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Banking, ideally with 6+ years of global experience in corporate treasury.\
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA are preferred but not required.\
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with treasury management systems (TMS).
