Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Automation Engineer to join our team as we expand our services to a client site. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing change control processes specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Managing and executing PLC projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Designing and engineering hardware components for PLC systems, ensuring reliability and meeting project requirements.
  • Providing on-site support and troubleshooting for PLC systems, addressing any issues that arise during installation, commissioning, and operation.
  • Performing preventive maintenance of automation systems as scheduled.
  • Identifying and addressing issues at recipe level as well as 3rd party interfaces with automation systems.
  • Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting for DeltaV systems and related equipment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, preferably in Process Automation.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Process Automation, preferably in a batch manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SCL is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with documentation in a highly regulated environment.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A good understanding of customer needs and quality requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
