Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to lead our internal audit function. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk-based internal audit plan that covers all key functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, risk management, and governance, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive risk-based internal audit plan covering all key functions.
  2. Provide assurance and insights to the Audit Committee and Executive Management on the effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes.
  3. Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with IIA Standards and applicable regulations.
  4. Identify emerging risks and opportunities to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency.
  5. Liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.
  6. Monitor and report on the implementation of audit recommendations and track management's corrective actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong background in auditing, risk management, and governance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with IIA Standards and relevant regulations.
