Special Needs Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Special Needs Educator. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of students with autism.

About the Role:
As a Special Needs Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and care to students with autism. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each student.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and development;
  • Working closely with parents and other educators to ensure seamless communication and collaboration;
  • Providing one-on-one support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals;
  • Participating in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in special education.


Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A recognized degree or polytechnic diploma in Education or a related field;
  • Teaching qualifications or equivalent experience in special education;
  • A minimum of 5 credits in GCE 'O' level with a pass in English and Mathematics;
  • Preferably 3 years of experience at secondary level;
  • Familiarity with national curriculum and standards;
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and working with students with autism.
