Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise ongoing projects and assist in design office activities, resolving technical issues.
  • Assist in all AC jobs/projects/contracts, reviewing and checking design calculations.
  • Represent the company, advising and acting on its behalf to fulfill contractual obligations.
  • Act on behalf of the company to maintain reputation and goodwill with clients.
  • Assist the Managing Director in tendering projects and contracts, including government, private, and overseas projects.
  • Attend site meetings with clients, contractors, and relevant authorities.
  • Attend meetings with the Managing Director to report on project matters and assist in resolving issues.
  • Promote the employer's profile and capabilities in procurement and business development.
  • Be a management representative for site and office projects.
  • Review design and checking of calculations, and carry out planning, design drafting, and cost estimation.
  • Prepare proposals and performance on tendering works for consultancy.
  • Oversee authority's submission and update of each project.
  • Cover duties for other Senior/Design engineers.
  • Assist in technical design and drafting.
Requirements:
  • Design Engineer (SDE) shall be an engineer in the civil/structural discipline with at least a degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
  • At least ten (10) years of relevant experience on Civil & Structural projects.
  • Able to problem solve and manage projects.
