Job Summary

A Fabrication Manager is responsible for overseeing the production and assembly of structures within a shipyard environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a team of sub-contractors/workers and be able to ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with engineering teams to understand and follow up on project timelines.
  • Supervise, organize and plan activities to ensure efficient production and assembly of structures.
  • Prepare project progress reports and update technical drawings.
  • Review technical documents and advise engineers of any discrepancies.
  • Perform Material Take-Off (MTO) and update progressively to control material procurement and usage.
  • Ensure effective deployment of resources to deliver products timely.
  • Follow up on all fabrication and installation job fit-up, welding and inspection.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering/Marine Offshore or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Marine Shipyard operations involving structure fabrication management works.
  • Experience in leading a team of sub-contractors/workers in Structure fabrication and installation.
