Senior Fitness Trainer Job

Job Description:

This is a full-time position that involves driving the Gym Tonic Programme in various sites. The main duty is to lead the Programme and ensure its smooth operations.

The Programme aims to build muscle strength in seniors above 60 years old using specialised machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and supervise GT training programs for elderly participants.
  • Conduct physical fitness assessments for elderly participants.
  • Develop training programs based on existing protocols.
  • Perform data analysis of fitness results and reports.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of a gym.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative tasks and manpower planning.
  • Work with Constituency Office for publicity and overall administration of Gym Tonic.
  • General maintenance of gym facilities.

Requirements:

  • Preferably 2-3 years of experience in managing a gym or in a similar setting.
  • Diploma qualifications or above; preferably a background in Exercise & Sport Science, Health & Wellness, or related areas.
  • Additional personal training certification such as FIC or ACE would be preferred.
  • Experience in the fitness coaching industry would be helpful.
  • Passionate about working with elderly to improve their physical and mental well-being.
