**Role Overview**

We are seeking an experienced educator to lead our English as an Additional Language programme.

  • The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Education or higher from a reputable institution, with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
  • They must be committed to working in a dynamic educational environment that offers academic rigour and excellence in teaching.

**Responsibilities and Expectations**

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting interviews with prospective students requiring English language support;
  • Assessing and testing children referred by Class Teachers;
  • Collaborating with teachers and Principals to develop, implement, monitor, assess and refine the EAL programme;
  • Working closely with Class Teachers to assess and monitor children's progress;
  • Ensuring displays throughout the school are maintained to high standards;
  • Sharing management and delivery of assemblies;
  • Providing guidance and advice on issues affecting the school's performance and ethos.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Education or higher from a reputable institution;
  • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience;
  • Commitment to delivering academic rigour and excellence in teaching.
