Math and Science Teacher Role

We are seeking a skilled educator to join our team as an IB/A Level Math and Science teacher.

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate teacher to teach Math, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology to students at both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL).

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the IB/A level philosophy, focusing on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and real-world applications.
  • Assess students' academic progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Provide guidance and support to students during internal assessments and IB exams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary learning opportunities across subjects.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification and/or IB A level certification is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience teaching Math, Physics, and Chemistry within the IB/A Level framework.
  • Strong understanding of IB curriculum, assessment criteria, and teaching methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with differentiated instruction and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and resources to enhance classroom instruction.
  • Ability to foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
