Job Title: Quality Assurance and Control Manager
Are you a quality-focused professional looking for a challenging role in construction?

We are seeking an experienced QAQC Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our construction projects.

  • Establishing and maintaining good in-process quality control measures across ongoing condominium projects is essential to your success.
  • You will share and implement best practices in quality control among projects, promoting a culture of excellence throughout our organization.
  • Leading project watch teams on QM Conquas preparation and execution requires strong leadership skills and attention to detail.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Conducting daily QAQC checks to identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Preparing monthly QAQC reports for submission to the Corporate QAQC Department, providing valuable insights into project performance.
  • Conducting monthly QAQC training sessions for sub-contractors, enhancing their knowledge and skills in quality control.
  • Issuing QAQC non-compliance notices to sub-contractors, enforcing adherence to quality standards.
  • Attending monthly QAQC presentations and meetings at the Corporate QAQC Department, staying informed about industry developments and best practices.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with method statements, BCA's Good Industry Practice, and client/consultant approvals.
  • Liaising with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments, facilitating smooth project progress.
  • Acting as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns related to CONQUAS scoring.
  • Collaborating with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications or conducting relevant training as needed.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a QAQC Manager or Assistant QAQC Manager in a main construction company.
  • Architectural-trained or Structural-trained work experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance is essential.
  • Certifications: BCA-Approved CONQUAS Manager and Quality Mark Certificate.
