**Job Summary**:

Our company is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in model-based design, software development, and embedded systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software components using cutting-edge technologies. This includes working directly with cross-functional teams to create, enhance, and release model-based design algorithms for electric power steering (EPS) systems.

Additionally, the Software Development Engineer will be responsible for creating software component requirements in a DOORS database from functional requirements, linking requirements to Simulink models for traceability, participating in peer reviews and unit testing, and analyzing and troubleshooting C source codes to comply with MISRA C rules.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, experience in MATLAB, Simulink, and C programming, understanding of software development techniques and methodologies, ability to work in a team environment remotely, good communication skills, and a minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience.
