We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Transformation Specialist to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Corporate Sales organization, you will play a vital role in empowering our customers in SMC to achieve their business goals through the unique value of the Microsoft cloud.

The successful candidate will facilitate Microsoft's efforts to better serve our SMC-Corporate managed clients, helping them realize their potential and navigate their Digital Transformation journey. You will develop and maintain strong customer relationships, including building connections with executives at the Chief-level (CxO) and other Business and Technical Decision Makers within the customers' organizations.

To excel in this role, you must be able to leverage all available digital tools and processes effectively, orchestrate the efforts of other team members to address customer needs, and engage with Partners to find the best solutions for our clients. This opportunity will allow you to hone your solution sales and collaboration skills, deepen your cloud and AI expertise, and work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities

  • You will be the central point of contact for our customers, maintaining strong relationships and advocating on their behalf within the organization/Microsoft. You will identify decision-makers, establish conditions of satisfaction, and manage escalation processes to ensure continuity of customer accounts and monitor customer satisfaction metrics.
  • You will think strategically about sales territories, setting standards and priorities, outlining where to leverage specialized and technical resources, and engaging internal and external decision-makers on long-term business planning. You will help existing/new customers adopt cloud solutions via cohesive plans across adds, consumption, upsell, cosell motions, and renewal, maximizing customer business outcomes and experience.
  • You will proactively build and maintain a strong knowledge of Microsoft's product landscape, solutions, and strategy in the assigned accounts, as well as the business priorities, demonstrating a deep understanding of the customers' business strategy and industry direction.
  • You will orchestrate specialized resources to engage with customers, providing strong solutions-based and technology-based engagement to help address challenges and opportunities. You will also leverage additional resources like partners to deliver the right solution to customers on their transformation journey.

Qualifications

  1. 6+ years of sales and negotiation experience with year-over-year growth or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing, or equivalent, and 4+ years of sales and negotiation experience or related work/internship experience with year-over-year growth or Master's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing, or equivalent, and 3+ years of sales and negotiation experience or related work.
  2. 8+ years of technology sales and negotiation experience with year-over-year growth or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing, or equivalent, and 6+ years of sales and negotiation experience or related work/internship experience with year-over-year growth or Master's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing, or equivalent, and 5+ years of sales and negotiation experience or related work.
  3. Strategic thinking & execution, ability to develop sales and business strategy options, strong communication, negotiation, organizational, presentation, financial acumen, written, and verbal communication skills, high performance, highly driven, able to compete against skilled competition, and ability to overcome problems with a positive approach.
  4. Purposeful planner & executor - delivers business impact with intentional planning, removes blockers, ensures quarterly business budget goals are met.
  5. Disciplined operator - maintains excellence in pipeline management, forecasting, and driving integrated territory and budget achievement planning.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
