Job Overview

This position plays a vital role in the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework, reporting directly to the Assistant Director of TPRM. The successful candidate will collaborate with Procurement and Synapxe's TPM-Enhance Programme (TPM-EP) to improve third-party and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance Synapxe-wide TPRM policy, framework, and governance, working closely with Procurement and TPM-EP.
  • Establish a central TPM inventory, risk infrastructure, and monitoring systems for third parties from a risk-domain perspective.
  • Design and deliver RSG TPRM reporting on internal and external threats, compliance, and residual risks to Synapxe.
  • Incorporate GIA TPVM advisory audit recommendations into existing processes.
  • Support ongoing monitoring and oversight of third-party risks through the TPRM governance model.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to identify and escalate key concerns related to new and existing third parties, including concentration risks and chain-sourcing exposure.
  • Provide guidance and promote awareness on third-party risk management best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, with at least five years of experience in third-party oversight, vendor governance, risk management, and operational risks.
  • Preferably, candidates should have direct experience with third-party vendors, demonstrating strong technical knowledge in this area.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent people management, internal consulting, and partnering skills.
  • Strong ability to conceptualize and operationalize policies into practical applications.
  • Candidates must be tenacious, energetic, and resilient, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, team player, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Proactive, open to new challenges, innovative, and resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
