We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Careers@Gov. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Corporate Planning and Risk Management team within the Transformation Office.

Job Description

As a Risk Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and managing CAAS' Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and enhancing CAAS' ERM framework, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with government and industry best practices.
  • Driving the effective implementation of CAAS' ERM programme across the organization.
  • Collaborating with various departments to identify and evaluate enterprise risks, and develop strategies for their mitigation.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and analysis to prioritize risks and establish appropriate risk tolerance levels.
  • Facilitating and coordinating risk management discussions, workshops, and trainings to promote a strong risk-aware culture within the organization.

You will also serve as the secretariat for senior management and board-level committees focused on risk management, including preparing meeting agendas, collating reports, and documenting minutes.

In addition, you will be responsible for developing and implementing key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk reporting mechanisms to effectively monitor risk exposure and provide timely updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise risk management.
  • The ability to think strategically and analyze issues, taking into consideration the wider and changing environment.
  • The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivation, a good team player, and strong ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and analytical skills.

Note that your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.

The estimated salary for this position is SGD 120,000 - SGD 180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
