About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Building Services Manager to lead our technical team at Mapletree Group. As a key member of our Property Management department, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our portfolio teams.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building facilities management, project management, and integrated fitting out works. With a minimum of 15 years of experience in these fields, you will possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

As a senior leader, you will oversee the planning, control, organization, and monitoring of works and resources within the technical services team. You will also conduct strategic reviews of our roles, tasks, and building-related engineering expertise within the Property Management department and across our portfolios.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a small team of technical professionals
  • Providing technical expertise and advice on building defects and conversion works
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to building standards and safety
  • Collaborating with external consultants and contractors to review building-related proposals and devise solutions for rectification, operation, repair, and maintenance
  • Managing budgets and expenditures for repair and maintenance works, long-term building asset repairing and replacement planning, and capital expenditure projects

About You

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a strong track record of success in building facilities management and project management. Your qualifications should include:

  • A degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in building facilities management, project management, and integrated fitting out works
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), with experience working with SAP being an added advantage
  • Certification as a Fire Safety Manager is a plus
  • Strong leadership, planning, communication skills, and good interpersonal skills are essential
  • Ability to manage operations and projects simultaneously
