Job Title: Senior IT Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our organization.

**Job Description**

As a Senior IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This includes supervising the installation, maintenance, and operation of our servers, networks, and other hardware systems. You will also design, deploy, and maintain our factory IT infrastructure, including on-premises servers, cloud integrations, and edge computing devices.

In addition, you will manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server 2022, and VMware environments for production and manufacturing systems. You will maintain high availability and disaster recovery setups for essential factory applications. You will also coordinate the management and maintenance of these systems, including scheduling software updates, patches, and upgrades as necessary.

Furthermore, you will deploy containerized applications using Docker, ensuring compatibility with manufacturing systems. You will set up and manage Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters for high-availability and scalability of factory workloads.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server 2022, and VMware ecosystems. You will also need hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment. Expertise in using Elastic Stack for log management and performance analytics is also required. Familiarity with MES platforms like Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or Dassault DELMIA is essential. Knowledge of OT protocols (e.g., OPC-UA, Modbus) and integration with IT systems is also necessary.
