Purchasing Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team. As a key member of the supply chain, you will be responsible for purchasing maritime stores and provisions for assigned vessels from local and overseas suppliers.

  • Your primary focus will be on performing all related purchasing functions, including requesting quotations, evaluating offers, issuing purchase orders, and following up with delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in purchasing maritime stores and consumables, preferably in a Ship Chandler business. Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with the ability to multi-task and exercise independent judgment, are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
