Job Title:Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:

The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for performing various bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including processing AP, AR, and GL transactions. This role will also involve assisting in the handling of clients' accounts, preparing management accounts, and filing statutory documents such as GST returns and tax computations.


Responsibilities:
  • Perform bookkeeping transactions for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
  • Assist in handling partial or full sets of clients' accounts
  • Prepare and file quarterly GST returns
  • Assist in tax computations and file Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and Form C/CS for company income tax
  • Assist in the preparation of IR21, IR8A, GST registration, and GST cancellation documents
  • Assist with other statutory filings, e.g., ACRA
  • Perform invoicing within the accounting system
  • Set up payments via internet banking
  • Prepare payroll reports
  • Physically file and e-file documents

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, maturity, self-initiative, proactivity, attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, meticulousness, and ability to work independently
  • Able to read, speak and write Chinese, to communicate with Chinese speaking clients
