Job Title: Inventory Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Inventory Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:

    Accurately process purchase requests, verify order details, and maintain accurate records of purchase status.

    This includes managing inventory levels, monitoring stock movements, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

  • Sourcing and Procurement:

    Source and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with approved suppliers, issue Purchase Orders (POs), and manage returns or credit notes for any discrepancies.

    This involves building strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Logistics Coordination:

    Serve as the primary contact for daily logistical scheduling, coordinate the collection and distribution of deliveries, and liaise with logistics teams to manage collection and distribution schedules.

    This requires effective communication, problem-solving, and time management skills to ensure seamless logistics operations.

  • Stock Reconciliation:

    Conduct weekly cycle counts and quarterly stock checks of materials and machinery; reconcile physical stock with inventory records and report any variances.

    This involves maintaining accurate records, identifying discrepancies, and taking corrective action to prevent stockouts and overstocking.

  • Data Analysis:

    Analyze and anticipate stock requirements to support regular stock replenishment and generate weekly/monthly supply chain reports for relevant stakeholders.

    This requires data analysis and interpretation skills to identify trends, forecast demand, and inform business decisions.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management, sourcing, and logistics coordination.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
