Robotics Software Development Position

We are seeking an experienced robotics software engineer to design, develop, and test sophisticated robotic software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Design and Development: Develop robust robotic software systems that meet stringent specifications and performance metrics.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Oversee the integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems with software controls, working closely with hardware engineers on AI, SLAM, computer vision, and sensor fusion integration.
  • Code Maintenance and Reusability: Maintain, scope, and write reusable code that can be shared across various projects, ensuring consistency and efficiency in software development.
  • Mentorship and Support: Mentor and support junior engineers and interns in hands-on projects, providing guidance and feedback to ensure their growth and success.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Technical Foundation: Possess a strong foundation in embedded systems and firmware development for robots, with expertise in C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Experience and Skills: Have experience with writing software that interfaces with sensors, actuators, motion control, and system integration, as well as knowledge of AI-driven robotics, SLAM, and sensor fusion technologies.
  • Education and Background: Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, with a strong academic background and relevant work experience.
