Delivering Quality Patient Care
The Senior Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the orthopaedic department. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Monitor and document patients' conditions, symptoms, and responses to treatment, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and post-operative care, promoting self-care and independence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field, preferably in an orthopaedic setting.
- Registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
