Gas/LNG Market Analyst Role">

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Gas/LNG Market Analyst to join our team in Singapore.

This exciting opportunity will provide the ideal candidate with a chance to analyze gas/LNG markets, develop their numerical and analytical skills, and progress towards becoming a regional or subject-matter expert.

The successful applicant will work closely with our experienced professionals serving a diverse international client base, primarily consisting of gas and LNG companies, financial institutions, and producer governments.

Our bespoke consultancy services include delivering regular research, engaging directly with clients, and undertaking specialized studies and reports. We deliver a suite of services that provide valuable insights, analysis, strategic advice, and analytics on the global gas and LNG markets, with a particular focus on country-level developments in the East of Suez region.

Key responsibilities will include collecting data and information on market fundamentals (supply, demand, trade), analyzing and modeling market fundamentals of gas/LNG, building forecasts, databases, and evaluations for FGE NexantECA's short-term and long-term gas/LNG services, writing analytical reports, and providing research support to consultants and senior analysts.

The ideal applicant will possess a strong analytical background, excellent numeracy and written skills, comfortable working with large data sets from disparate sources, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity with data analytics, visualization, and automation tools an added advantage.

Familiarity with the oil and gas industry is beneficial but not essential, as we welcome applications from graduates relevant to the field with internship experience. The successful candidate will be able to legally work in Singapore and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
