
Public Health Research Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Population Health Research Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting field research and collecting data for various public health projects. Your primary objective will be to recruit participants for studies related to the population health biobank in Singapore.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with participants from diverse backgrounds. They must also be proficient in using tablets for data entry and retrieval of records.
About the Role- Conduct participant recruitment for public health research studies
- Screen eligibility and schedule appointments with participants
- Provide logistical information for study procedures and manage participant flow at the study site
- Explain consent documents and obtain informed consent from participants
- Collect and enter survey responses accurately using an e-questionnaire on a tablet
- Ensure timely completion of interviews and registration of participants for their study procedures
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A good command of spoken English and Malay/Tamil/Mandarin/Cantonese/Hokkien/Teochew languages for effective communication with participants
- Post-secondary qualifications and at least 1 year of customer-facing experience
This role offers a competitive salary range of $2,300 - $2,900 per month, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
