Job Title: Senior Mechanical Systems Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Systems Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and refining mechanical systems for battery handling, charging, and swapping.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design Optimization: Develop and enhance mechanical systems to boost efficiency and safety.
  • Detailed Documentation: Prepare precise drawings and specifications for mechanical parts, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Purchase Management: Select, order, and acquire necessary mechanical parts and machines, considering factors such as quality, cost, and delivery times.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Establish and follow maintenance schedules to ensure equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Safety Protocols: Ensure all designs adhere to safety and industry rules, protecting staff and equipment from potential hazards.
  • Risk Mitigation: Apply safety protocols for staff and equipment, minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • System Verification: Inspect and test mechanical systems to verify their proper functioning, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams and project managers to plan and execute projects, providing mechanical engineering expertise and guidance.
  • Project Planning: Offer advice on mechanical engineering for project planning, ensuring seamless integration and coordination.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle electrical and hydraulic problems, applying problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their applications.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical engineering tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
