Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to lead the development of machine control systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications to ensure smooth automation processes.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical diagrams and experience with automation machinery. Proficiency in Ladder Diagram and Structured Text programming is essential, with C#, C++, and Java being advantageous skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain machine control system software applications
  • Oversee machine programming, HMI design, system troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on requirements analysis and documentation
  • Implement automation and control solutions for plant modifications according to defined specifications
  • Write, debug, and test code to meet customer requirements
  • Liaise with customers on control requirements and commissioning of software
  • Prepare technical documentation and conduct customer training sessions

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in machine control software and HMI programming within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical diagrams and experience with automation machinery
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese to effectively communicate with regional counterparts and customers
