Job Title

The role of a Senior Physiotherapist is to assess patients and evaluate their functional ability in terms of mobility, transfers, and ambulation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Duties:
    • Assessing Patients:
    • Examine patients to evaluate their functional ability.
    • Treatment Planning:
    • Identify potential impairments and plan appropriate treatment plans.
    • Implementing Treatment Plans:
    • Implement treatment plans and re-evaluate as required.
  • Physiotherapy Intervention:
    • Manual Therapy Techniques:
    • Use manual therapy techniques to promote healing and relief from pain.
    • Physical Agents:
    • Apply physical agents such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat or cold therapy.
    • Functional Training:
    • Prescribe exercises and train patients in functional activities.
  • Teamwork and Communication:
    • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, medical practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • A degree in physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • Registration with the Singapore Allied Health Professions Council.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the field of physiotherapy.
