The ideal candidate for this pivotal role will be a seasoned legal professional with expertise in navigating the complexities of international trade and food regulations.
About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Legal professional to join our team as we expand our B2B fresh grocery delivery model into Singapore's F&B sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring operational compliance and driving business growth through strategic legal counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of foreign laws, regulations, and policies related to internet retail and food trade, ensuring seamless operations for overseas companies and businesses.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (in English) and other legal documents with meticulous attention to detail, fostering trust and cooperation with clients.
3. Collaborate closely with department heads to develop and promote overseas legal work and processes, enhancing compliance awareness and best practices among overseas businesses through various channels.
Requirements:
1. Holding a full-time undergraduate degree or higher, with at least six years of legal work experience and three years of experience working in overseas business environments.
2. Possessing excellent command of English and a deep understanding of the local Singaporean legal system, enabling effective communication and collaboration.
3. Demonstrating strong learning ability, self-motivation, proactive approach, and exceptional communication, coordination, and project management skills.
