Technical CAD-CAM Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working closely with our production team to ensure timely toolings issuance to the production floor. This role involves scrutinizing customer data and drawings, highlighting any possible issues in building the job, and reviewing job process flow to ensure CAM data are processed on all areas according to customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Panelization and Review:

    • Scrutinize customer data and drawings, highlight any possible issues in building the job, and review job process flow to ensure CAM data are processed on all areas according to customer requirements.

  • Editing and Inspection:

    • Perform on-screen inspection (OSI) of editing CAM data prior to tooling issuance to production and prepare rework films/programs per Engineering Change Requests.

  • Communication and Coordination:

    • Communicate any artwork-related issues to Front-End Engineers and/or Process Engineers and suggest solutions to resolve problems to ensure correct tools are provided to production.

  • Tooling Development:

    • Create the tools needed by Process Engineers for process evaluation, test, and capability study.

  • Maintenance and Improvement:

    • Work closely with Production Engineers in implementing new targets/tooling needed to newly acquired machines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Min. Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Experience in manufacturing or related fields is preferred; hands-on exposure to PCB fabrication processes or CAM engineering is an advantage.
  • Skillset: Knowledge of programming languages is an advantage; experience in the use of Genesis is a plus; prior use of other PCB CAM tools or CAD/CAM systems will be considered favorably.
  • Attitude: Possess a positive and 'can-do' attitude.
