Overview

The role of Business Data Analyst involves utilizing sophisticated data mining and business analytics techniques to extract insights from business data, enabling organizations to make informed decisions and optimize their business resources.

As a Business Data Analyst, you will partner with senior stakeholders to provide expert advisory on data and analytics needs, discover user behavior patterns from big data, and develop novel applications based on that. You will also be responsible for developing and executing the data strategy roadmap for assigned business units, as well as leading the development of data models and solutions to solve practical problems using advanced statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning methods.

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives, and develop strategies to achieve them through data-driven insights.
  • Design and implement data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate complex data insights to business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain advanced data analysis tools, such as predictive models, data mining algorithms, and statistical software.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics into business processes and decision-making frameworks.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, and decision trees.
  • Experience working with large datasets and databases, including data warehousing and ETL processes.
