Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Strategist to join our Special Projects team at GAIN CITY BEST-ELECTRIC PTE LTD.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A and Controller roles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and analyses to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance finance partnering and reduce transactional effort, leading to improved efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement Projects: Facilitate delivery of projects aimed at driving process changes, system enhancements, and performance metrics analysis to support proactive management of the business.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Engage across the business to ensure strategic, margin improvement initiatives are delivered in line with commitments, while providing ad hoc strategic and financial analysis as required.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A and Controller experience.
  • Leadership and Influencing: Ability to develop relationships across senior leadership teams to gain trust and influence decision-making.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong strategic/budget development, planning, and analytical ability; knowledge of accounting, financial, inventory, and payroll systems; excellent understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS); demonstrated success in process improvement and technology implementations in financial and accounting functions; and multi-store retail, e-commerce, and consumer goods experience preferred.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
