As a key member of our IT leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

About the Role:

This is a senior leadership position that requires a strong technical background in cloud computing, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud strategies, develop technical roadmaps, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud architectures for scalability, performance, and security
  • Develop and manage cloud budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based applications
  • Leverage cloud-native services to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance disaster recovery capabilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with cloud vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead cloud adoption initiatives, driving user acceptance and change management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or leadership roles
  • In-depth understanding of public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and VMware
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Experience with cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA/HITECH)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Azure Certified: Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate
  • Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
  • Familiarity with containerization, serverless computing, and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and security tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
  • Fluency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript
