The primary function of this role is to oversee the installation, alignment, and assembly of complex mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate technical drawings, method statements, and industry standards to ensure compliance in mechanical equipment installation and alignment.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment to guarantee operational readiness and minimize downtime.
  • Determine fault causes, replace defective components, and restore equipment to a safe working condition.

To succeed in this position, candidates must possess a technical diploma or trade certificate in a relevant discipline, such as mechanical engineering. Proficiency in mechanical systems, including rotating and static equipment, piping, and auxiliary systems, is also essential.

Candidates with hands-on experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair will be preferred. Additionally, knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for rotating machinery and static equipment will be highly valued. Familiarity with hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, alignment checks, and mechanical integrity verification is also desirable.
