We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Recruit Express Pte Ltd. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing various technical functions in a histopathology/cytology laboratory.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and accession specimens from the laboratory.
- Perform microtomy, basic histological staining of tissue sections, and general molecular techniques (DNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, etc).
- Assist in implementing laboratory quality control and assurance programs and conduct daily monitoring and quality control activities.
- Ensure proper safe storage and preparation of laboratory reagents.
- Perform and record daily equipment maintenance procedures according to specifications.
- Assist in the laboratory statistical tabulation and reporting.
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Science.
- Prior related internship experience is advantageous.
- Able to commit to the entire duration of the assignment.
