Electronics Service Engineer Role Summary
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Electronics/Service Engineer to join our team. This pivotal role demands an accomplished professional who can effectively provide engineering support for pre and post-sales service activities.
As an Electronics/Service Engineer, you will be responsible for offering expert technical guidance and support to customers, ensuring seamless delivery of products and services. Your primary objective will be to troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing timely solutions that meet customer expectations.
To excel in this position, you will need to possess exceptional knowledge of electronics, including circuit diagrams and electronic systems. Proficiency in using AutoCAD for reading and creating floor plans and schematic diagrams is also essential. Additionally, you must be well-versed in writing clear, concise daily reports and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A degree in Analogue, Digital, and/or Computer Electronics/Electrical, coupled with at least two years of relevant working experience, is mandatory for this role. Knowledge of electrical termination and troubleshooting is an added advantage, as is proficiency in computer skills and software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). The ability to work independently, adapt to a dynamic environment quickly, and thrive under pressure are crucial attributes for success in this position.
The ideal candidate will be an organized, fast learner, proactive, and able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills are also vital in this capacity.
