The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, risk assessment, and training, with excellent communication and project management skills. Key Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Implementation: Administer and maintain a Management System as per regulations and prepare for external audits.
  • Audits: Conduct Environmental, Health, and Safety audits as required.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations.
  • Training: Prepare and deliver EHS training for employees based on Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
  • Performance Monitoring: Track Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) performance and discuss in committee meetings.
  • Environmental Control: Perform Environmental Control responsibilities as assigned.
  • Earth Control Measures: Implement and oversee Earth Control Measures according to QECP designs, ensuring compliance during construction and monitoring their effectiveness with QECP assistance.
  • Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct site inspections and oversee maintenance programs.
  • Clearance: Obtain clearance to start work by submitting QECP-endorsed plans to the Public Utilities Board.
  • Installation: Oversee installation on-site in line with the approved plan.
  • Act Compliance: Cooperate with safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and avoid tampering with safety devices.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Specialist Diploma in WSH or a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Environmental Control roles.
  • Hold a valid certification.
  • Registered with both NEA and IES.
