Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our technology team as a Lead System Engineer. This key member will be responsible for designing and developing innovative, high-quality products and solutions that meet complex requirements.

The successful candidate will have ownership of all technical aspects in product development, collaborating with stakeholders to define system requirements. They will identify technical constraints and ensure requirements are realistic and achievable.

  • Designing the system architecture, breaking it into clear domains that meet system specifications, safety requirements, and manufacturing cost goals.
  • Developing, reviewing, and optimising system test cases and specifications to ensure quality, robustness, and efficiency.
  • Conducting feasibility studies to explore and integrate new technologies for future products.
  • Supporting product lifecycle activities, including coordinating failure analysis and driving design improvements.
  • Establishing and managing the system verification plan to support test-driven development.
  • Providing hands-on technical leadership, guiding cross-functional teams and resolving challenges.
  • Monitoring and mitigating technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field, as well as minimum 10 years of experience in R&D product development for embedded systems, involvement in at least five full-cycle product launches, proven ability to resolve cross-functional technical issues in embedded system design, strong knowledge of EMC/EMI, electronics design, software development, and thermal management, solid understanding of sensor technologies and their principles, and proficiency in interpreting and applying product regulatory standards to guide engineering decisions.
