We are looking for a highly skilled Freight Crane Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site training of freight container handling equipment in various ports around the world.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum diploma in mechatronics engineering or equivalent with 5 to 8 years' experience working with container handling cranes or similar heavy engineering equipment.

  • Commissioning: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the freight crane equipment is properly installed and configured at customer sites.
  • Troubleshooting: The candidate will troubleshoot any issues that arise during the operation of the freight crane equipment, using their knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and PLC systems to identify and resolve problems.
  • On-Site Training: The candidate will provide on-site training to customers on the safe and effective use of the freight crane equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide feedback to designers and factory personnel on any issues found during commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Develop proposals for new features and enhancements on equipment in service and assist sales teams with compiling quotes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum diploma in mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 to 8 years' experience working with container handling cranes or similar heavy engineering equipment.
  • Good knowledge and experience in debugging PLC programs, diagnostics, and electrical and hydraulic controls.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
