Job Overview

In this role, you will provide vital support to the Major Complex Loss Adjusting Team at SEDGWICK SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the settlement of claims within the terms of the insurance policy, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Insurance Claims Support Specialist. You will work from an office base, providing administrative support to the Major Complex Loss Team. Your key duties will include assisting with report preparation, managing a portfolio of claims, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with your manager and team colleagues, but also have the autonomy to work independently using your own initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Major Complex Loss Team with report preparation to ensure prompt claim settlements;
  • Support the Major Complex Loss Team in meeting service and reporting agreements throughout the claims process;
  • Provide administrative support to the Major Complex Loss team, ensuring proper time recording and expense submission;
  • Register claims on the system and issue acceptance of work to clients upon instruction from Lead adjusters;
  • Maintain regular contact with your Adjusting Team to discuss service delivery or to discuss and agree actions for complex or challenging claims;
  • Comply with Sedgwick processes and procedures;
  • Achieve objectives agreed with your line manager during appraisals/ one-to-one meetings;
  • Establish and maintain trust with your colleagues;
  • Strive for continued personal development and growth through participation in client meetings, workshops, and on-the-job training for site inspections.

Salary Information
The estimated salary range for this role is SGD $4,000 - SGD $6,000 per month, depending on experience.
