Job Title: Automotive Operations Director

An automotive operations director oversees and directs all operational activities within an organization, ensuring efficient and productive operations.

This role involves managing service departments, coordinating with various teams, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee and lead all aspects of vehicle logistics, including movements between locations, inspections, and handovers.
  • Supervise and support the operations team in daily functions and performance targets.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency and vehicle readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with standards for vehicle condition, documentation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor operational key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
  • Liaise with internal departments to align cross-functional activities.
  • Drive continuous improvements in operational workflows, reporting tools, and logistics planning.
  • Manage and resolve escalations, discrepancies, or urgent issues proactively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in business administration, operations management, logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive operations, logistics, or related industry, with supervisory or managerial exposure.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities under tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, especially in inspections, documentation, and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of inventory or fleet management systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
