Responsibilities:

  • Oversee carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.">
  • Lead and manage a team of carpenters, apprentices, and laborers, providing guidance and training as needed.">
  • Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and best practices on the job site.">
  • Inspect work done by junior carpenters and apprentices to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.">
  • Address any issues or defects in carpentry work, ensuring timely corrections.">

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or formal apprenticeship in carpentry is highly desirable.">
  • At least 5-10 years of professional experience in carpentry, with significant hands-on experience in various types of woodwork.">
  • Proven experience leading carpentry projects and managing a team.">
  • Experience working with both residential and commercial construction projects.">
  • Ability to perform complex carpentry tasks with high precision and quality.">
  • Proficient in reading architectural drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.">
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to guide a team of carpenters and apprentices.">
  • Able to think critically and troubleshoot issues that arise during construction.">
  • Proficient in the use of a wide range of carpentry tools and machinery.">
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.">
  • Familiarity with different wood types, finishes, and carpentry materials.">
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.">
