Operations Manager - Cafe

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Operations Executive to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cafe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cafe Management: Oversee the safe and hygienic operation of the cafe, ensuring all work areas meet high standards.
  • Staff Scheduling: Manage staff scheduling and adherence to relevant health and safety guidelines, including food handling and storage.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management of food materials and waste, including ordering, usage, minimizing wastage, and proper disposal.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Maintain equipment inventory and ensure regular maintenance is carried out.
  • Event Co-ordination: Manage internal orders for events, adapting to business needs as required.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Hold a valid Food Safety Course certification.
  • Qualifications: Possess a minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma qualification.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in operations, baking, or as a barista.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate attention to detail, creativity, a friendly attitude, and eagerness to contribute to a fun and growing cafe environment.
