Job Summary

As a skilled Renewable Energy Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of rooftop solar systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled inspections and upkeep to ensure optimal performance, diagnosing and fixing faults in inverters, panels, and electrical connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Solar Photovoltaic facilities during start-up, shutdown, normal, and emergency conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols, especially for electrical work and working at heights.
  • Perform scheduled inspections and upkeep of rooftop solar systems to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in inverters, panels, and electrical connections.
  • Monitor system performance and generate regular reports on issues and resolutions.
  • Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, faults, and resolutions.
  • Manage spare parts and tools required for maintenance work.
  • Coordinate with building/facility managers during site visits and maintenance work.

Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of directly related experience; electrical knowledge is beneficial.
  • Education or experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance.
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance, and work at heights.
  • Valid driving license.
