Pastries Production Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Commis to join our central kitchen team. This role offers the opportunity to learn advanced pastry techniques, contribute to daily operations, and grow your career in the culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with hands-on production of pastries, including weighing ingredients, cookie cutting, and dough portioning.
  • Assemble and decorate pastries with precision and creativity.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all pastries.
  • Support pastry chefs with additional production tasks as required.
  • Ensure workstation cleanliness and organization throughout the day.
  • Participate in end-of-day kitchen cleaning and equipment maintenance to uphold hygiene and food safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a pastry or baking environment is preferred.
  • A strong interest in pastry arts and a desire to improve technical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with early morning start times.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player.
