Chief Medical Research Statistician

At our internationally recognised research company, we are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic member to join our statistics team. The role offers the opportunity to work with large-scale electronic health record databases, patient registries, and conduct pragmatic clinical studies across a range of therapeutic areas.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Provide statistical input to research proposals and protocols for academic and commercial clients, including sample size and power calculations, plan and conduct statistical analysis, and statistical methodology.
  2. Act as the lead statistician on assigned research projects, undertaking tasks such as data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, statistical analyses, and contribution to journal publications.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in statistics or equivalent subject.
  • Minimum five years' experience in medical statistics.
  • Excellent statistical modelling skills and interpretation abilities.
  • Sound IT skills and programming experience using statistics software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Benefits:

Part-time and full-time roles are considered, with immediate start available. Starting salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
